SpiegelMagazine comes prepared for two nice image sliders called “Nivo Slider” and “WP-Cycle“.  Both provide this nice slider that you see here on the demos homepage. Altenatively you can also display an article with image, headline and text of your choice, maybe from a special category. Just go to the optionspage and select a slider or the leadarticle the slider. Be aware that you need to install the slider plugin you want to use. Either download the WP-Cycle Plugin from the WordPress Plugins repository or use the Nivo Slider that you find in the download file of this theme under the “Stuff/Plugins” subfolder.
