This is the lead story. It´s the first thing that catches your visitors eyes. Always the most recent post from the “News” category (or whatever category you define) will be displayed. You can add an image like this one by just using the standard WP uploader in the write post panel. WyntonMagazine is my second WordPress theme and the “brother” of my first theme BranfordMagazine. It is dedicated to Wynton Marsalis, American jazz trumpet player and brother of sax player Branford Marsalis. For that reason all dummy images I used to demonstrate the themes functionalities show Wynton. All the Code is mainly based on BranfordMagazine, which itself is based on “Mimbo” by Darren Hoyt.
